Homeopathic Potencies? What are the levels?

I’m trying to understand the levels of homeopathic potencies. I see some are C, F or M. Which is more potent? I also want to know if anyone in their homeopathic history has ever seen someone become cured of Pancreatitis? A relative is undergoing homeopathic treatment for this. Please help. Thanks so much.

Homeopathy works differently than drugs or herbs do… it actually stimulates your body’s Immune System responses to Help Your body heal itself. It does this in a way similar to vaccines and inoculations in which they give a very small dose of an irritant, which your immune system responds to, but it’s such a small amount that the immune response completely overwhelms the irritant and goes on to help the rest of the body.

The reason I point that out is that the C, F, M, X, or whatever letter just indicates the type of dilution. C is a dilution of 100 (1 part irritant to 100 parts water/alcohol/whatever delivery system) while X is a dilution of 10 (1 part irritant to 10 parts delivery system)… each one would be diluted however many times are indicated (6X is 6 times that it was diluted that way).
Because of the way that they work, the higher numbers (meaning the smaller amount of irritant) actually have a higher impact on the body because the immune system response can go farther… well, that’s a very loose translation of why it works, but you get the idea.

Needless to say, it’s the reverse of herbs and drugs, so there are a lot of skeptics about it’s efficacy, but billions of people across the world have used it and gotten great benefits. Your best bet if you’re looking at Homeopathic remedies would be to consult with a Homeopathic doctor, but the OTC products tend to have enough of a variety of ingredients for the condition listed that they help many people.
